3 weeks into my Awakening...
by Confession ini came across something i'd written exactly 2 weeks and 5 days after i first became convinced (in a stupor) the the watchtower society wasn't the channel of god--and that they didn't have "the truth.
when a person sins against god.
the society is here teaching that confession of sins is something we do to jehovah.

Very well explained. Now I understand why you call yourself "Confession," I think. Research into confession got you questioning and thinking on your own.
So, when did you feel not guilty for giving yourself permission to do the objective research? Did you feel any trepidation about approaching the research?

Living Alone - Love it or Loathe it?
by Crumpet inwell i have been living alone now for a week for the first time in about 6 years and apart from one or two minor episodes i am really really enjoying the freedom of it.
i feel like a weight has been lifted.
i feel free again - a tiny bit lonely at night - but mostly i think i've recaptured that long lost spring in my step.

I live with a 19-year old slob. Guess what my answer is! I just spent a week living in a spacious house with friend/clients' pets (without other people, including my daughter who stayed home). I love that solitude. It was not lonely at all. And it was really clean and tidy - no clutter. I am back home now, in my daughter's absolutely abominable mansion of a room. I love her dearly, but I hate all of her junk. I look forward to having some space, privacy, and to not worrying all the time about supporting her. Of course, there's the empty nest syndrome to concern myself with, but I think I'll get through it okay. I've always been a bit of a hermit and I am usually okay with it. Daughter is out all the time and I usually don't feel lonely when she's gone. Most of the time I don't mind being alone, although I occasionally get lonesome. But living alone is way better than having roommates. Roommates have mostly been a definite hell, for many reasons. I hope to never have another room mate again.

I just wanted to say hi to Cindy, if you're around. You meant a lot to me. I hope you're doing well and have found happiness. You were always so full of love and compassion.

Yeah, Gordy. I know what you mean (and I'm a chick!). Greendawn - I think she goes by Mary Ann. Maybe she lists it on her website (can be found on You Tube). She's asking for donations, so there must be some way to send her money, but don't know if her name is attached to the payment method (paypal?).

it is acrobatics and dance. I dig both; and I respect both; really enoyed them.
I'm checking to see if Beat Street homages are on You Tube. I'm newly addicted to You Tube. I've just fallen in love with a chick (OMG, I could almost be her mother) - ysabellabrave on youtube. She says she mostly listens to hip hop herself, but she sings all kinds of old fogey stuff (like what I like).
anyhoo, i'm checking out the beat st thing. I really enjoy it.

A head spin? I haven't even tried a cart wheel in almost 20 years! I daresay if I did, I'd probably put a dent in something . . . No, I cannot imagine people with this much skill and talent wasting it on the WBTS. Glad people are free to do so many interesting and amazing things! Wish I could be 19 again and learn to do that stuff; don't think my body would let me now.
